Guerilla Marketing Tactics

Why use common tactics when you can use the uncommon.

These can be used by themselves, or compliment a traditional campaign.

Guerilla Marketing means thinking out of the box. Especially if you create something that no one else is doing, you will stand out.

Some of the tactics that have been developed include:

Bookmark Marketing: You can print your own set of bookmarks with your business and contact information. Insert these bookmarks in books that your clients might read, either in bookstores or in public libraries. Be sure to include your contact details and a call to take action. Be careful as you might receive complaints.

Conducting Surveys: Do up a simple survey intended to filter your clients. Employ surveyors and place them at locations where your prospects are at. If necessary, offer incentives such as gifts or a lucky draw to encourage completion. Collect their contact information and for qualified prospects who fit your profile, you can contact them to follow up on the sales process.

Survey taking has been abused in recent times by multi-level marketing companies and timeshare companies, so be aware of the negative stima attached to such campaigns.
