Getting the Business Idea
The weight of an entire business rests upon your shoulders.
Whether it will ultimately succeed or fail depends on its foundation.
A successful business idea captures the business' potential.
The business will have more than a fighting chance of succeeding only if the business idea has been clearly thought through and if business opportunities and challenges are successfully identified.
It's very crucial to come up with a business plan.
Finding your Passion
A business is usually an extension of the owner's ideas and personality.
If you understand yourself, you will have a greater influence on how the business develops.
First, what are your strengths.
Perhaps you like dealing with people. You are able to find the middle group between two opposing sides. You could be a negotiator who is able to bridge the divide.
Or maybe you are very good with ideas. You are used to coming up with solutions to close gaps between problems and their solution. You are the 'go to' guy when things get tougher and a problem solver is needed.
Or maybe you are an artistic and creative person. Sure, you can write or communicate effectively, but somehow you are able to inject that extra bit of pizzazz to make it stand out. Maybe it's through your designs and creative concepts that gives the project that extra sparkle.
Understanding your strengths will help you determine the role you will adopt in the organization.
Will you be someone who leads? Or someone who will direct others to the front, while you do the planning.
As you consider your strengths, consider too your areas of improvement
