Entrepreneur Basics: the Good News

Here's a dose of good news for those that do make it.

The third time's a charm

On the average, an entrepreneur will fail at three businesses before succeeding.

If you've already started and failed miserably at a business, you only have two to go.

And if you've failed at two, you've very much closer.

And well, after three, you're pretty much there.

Critical Business Mass

It is generally agreed that it takes about three to five years for a business to establish itself.

Once a business is stable, new customers and repeat business will ensure a steady stream of business.

Business owners can (and deserve to) sleep a little easily at night.

And the money?

Business owners might also have the potential to earn 5 or 10 times as much as a business owner, compared to if they were an employee.

Is that all?

There are options for:

  • getting their companies listed
  • going for a merger or acquisition that will make for an earlier retirement.

However, all this depends on whether the business has a solid foundation.
