Developing a Plan of Action
Based on your market research, you will be in a position to develop a plan of action for your business.
Many entrepreneurs tend to place a lot of focus on product development, to the extent that they are overly focused on make the product the best of it's type.
Rather, it could be more helpful to adopt a customer-centric approach and consider what the client wants.
By talking to your potential clients, you can get an idea of what their needs and priorities are.
Is product quality the most important factor? Or maybe it's the price? Or technical support?
Rather than develop a plan of action in isolation, which could result in a product that doesn't match the market's requirements, a successful entrepreneur will take time to understand his clients needs and develop a product or service accordingly.
Customer Profiling
Having a clear understanding of your customer is key to your success.
You can construct a customer profile, which will help in your planning process.
Is your customer primarily male or female? Is it an even distribution?
How young or old is your customer?
What is their background? Education level? Social status?
Are they likely to buy the product immediately? Or will they come to a buying decision after 2-3 visits.
If you have an idea of your customer's behavior, you will be better able to predict his buying patterns.
If necessary, you can also prepare to counter any objections he might have.
